The Kia Optima / K5 has been on sale since 2000. In that time it has had 10 generations or facelifts: Optima / Magentis I (MS 2000) (2000), Optima / Magentis I restyling (MS 2003) (2002), Magentis II (MG 2005) (2005), Magentis II restyling (MG 2009) (2008), Optima III (TF 2010) (2010), Optima III restyling (TF 2014) (2013), Optima IV (JF 2015) (2015), Optima IV restyling (JF 2018) (2018), K5 (DL3 2019) (2019) and K5 restyling (DL3 2023) (2023).
